Rayos Uses

The major rheumatologic indications that Rayos has been approved to treat include:

  • ankylosing spondylitis
  • rheumatoid arthritis
  • psoriatic arthritis
  • polymyalgia rheumatic

Rayos Dosage

Ensure that you take Rayos as prescribed by the physician.  Avoid taking in smaller or larger amounts than is recommended. Rayos should be taken with meals to avoid stomach upsets. The tablets should also be swallowed whole without dividing, breaking or crushing.

  • The initial or starting dose of Rayos will vary depending on the disease that is being treated. The standard dose is 5 to 60 mg for every day.

In less severe diseases, a lower dose should be initialized and increased over time as needed. This starting dose maintained until the desired response is achieved. If there is not positive response after a long period of taking Rayos, then discontinue the medication and transfer the patient to other forms of therapy.
