- Children aged between six to twelve years should take one tablet;after every four hours
- The usual adult dose is 1 to 2 tablets every four hours.
- For the liquid form, the usual adult dose is ten mL after every four to six hours whereas children aged below twelve years should take five mL every four to six hours.
- For the extended-release capsules: the usual adult dose is one tablet after twelve hours. For children aged between six to twelve years: the usual dose is half a tablet every twelve hours.
