Pazeo (olopatadine ophthalmic) is a medication used to treat allergy symptoms of the eye. It is an antihistamine drug that reduces the level and the effects of the natural chemical histamine in the body.
Pazeo works by decreasing the effect of the natural histamine in the body that responsible for the allergic reactions. Some of the allergic conditions that are treatable by Pazeo are the eye redness, itching, burning, watery eyes. The drug is taken in the form of a solution, and it should be administered in the form of drops into the affected eye once in a day. If the patient is breast feeding, it is advisable not to use this drug since it has not been established it can be passed through the milk.
