It is always very important to follow the doctor's instructions in terms of the dosage of Paxipam and also the schedule. If you suspect any signs of an overdose, you should contact the doctor immediately. Take a missed dose as soon as you remember, but if it is almost time for the next dose, you should skip the missed dose and follow your regular schedule. - The usual adult dose for anxiety is 20 mg orally 3 times a day as the initial dose. The maximum dose should be 160 mg.

Some of the side effects that are caused by Paxipam could be severe hence requiring the doctor's attention while others may be mild and may clear as the patient adjusts to the medication.
