Histacol Bd Uses

Histacol Bd is a decongestant, cough suppressant and antihistamine combination. Each part of Histacol Bd works independently to treat the earlier mentioned conditions.

The cough suppressant works by interfering with a particular part of the brain (cough center) thereby reducing the urge to cough. The decongestant works by reducing the blood flow in the nasal passages. This in return helps ease the symptoms of a stuffy nose.

Dilated blood vessels are the primary cause of stuffy nose. The antihistamine part of Histacol Bd works by interfering with the activities of histamine. Histamine occurs naturally in the body and causes runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Histacol Bd is indicated for:

  • Cold
  • Allergies
  • Hay fever
