Hista-Vent Da Uses

Hista-Vent Da is formulated using a decongestant, anticholinergic and an antihistamine. The decongestant works by narrowing the blood vessels in the nasal passage. Note that dilated blood vessels are the primary cause of stuffy nose. The antihistamine works by interfering with the activities of histamine, a chemical that occurs naturally in the body. Histamine causes itchy throat and watery eyes.

The anticholinergic works by drying up a runny nose and the fluid that runs down the throat causing irritation and itching. While Hista-Vent Da may be used to treat other conditions as determined by the doctor, it is typically indicated for:

  • Allergies
  • Rhinitis
  • Hay fever
