Gua C Uses
Gua C treats or reduces coughs and chest congestion that are as a result of common cold. Gua C loosens the mucus from the lungs enabling easy coughing. One should take the medicine as prescribed by the doctor. Gua C drug cannot be used to treat coughs that are as a result of:

Gua C Dosage
Gua C dosage is only determined by your health care provider and it varies depending on the level of the condition being treated. You can take the medicine while with or without food and with a glass of water depending on the doctor's prescription.
- 2 years and below should take 12mg/kg in 6 divided doses in a day.
- 2 to 5 years of age should take 50 – 100 mg in every 4 hours and should not exceed 600mg in a day.
- 6 to 11 years: 100-200 mg after every 4 hours and should not exceed 2.4 g in a day.
- 12 years and older: 200-4000 mg is needed in every 4 hours and should not exceed 2.4 g in a day.
