Besides promoting healing and treating certain types of skin ulcers, Granul may also be used reduce odor from certain wounds. Granul may also be used alongside castor oil to sooth the affected area. Trypsin, one of the active ingredients in Granul is an enzyme that works by breaking and removing dead skin and tissue on the affected area. Balsam Peru, on the other hand, is a mild antiseptic that works by inhibiting growth and spread of bacteria. It may also help induce growth of skin cells. Granul is used exclusively on the skin. Granul is typically used for:

Use your Granul dosage as directed by the doctor or physician. Clean and dry the affected area before applying. Shake well before spraying on the affected area while being careful not to inhale the medication. Do not bandage the affected area after application.
