Gly-Cort Uses

Gly-Cort which is also known as Hydrocortisone Topical is a drug which is used for treating skin inflammation that is usually caused by several conditions. These conditions include allergic reactions, eczema and psoriasis. Gly-Cort is also used for treating insect bites, rash and itching of the outer female genitals or the anal itching.

Gly-Cort is a mild Corticosteroid that works by reducing the swelling, the itching and also the redness that can occur as a result of these conditions. Gly-Cort reduces the chemical actions in the body that cause inflammation.

Gly-Cort may be used for other purposes that are not listed above, but self-prescription is not advised. The doctor should be the only one to determine any other use of Gly-Cort.

Gly-Cort Dosage
