Normal dose for an adult:
Immediate release formulation:
200 to 400mg of GG 200 Nr should be taken orally after every four hours.
Sustained release formulation:
600 to 1200 mg of GG 200 NR should be taken orally after every 12 hours.
Normal dose for a child:
- Under 2 years: 12mg/kg in a day should be taken orally in six separate doses.
- 2 up to 5 years old: 50 to 100 mg should be taken orally after every four hours as required.
- 6 up to 11 years old: 100 to 200 mg should be taken orally after every four hours as required.
- 12 years and higher: 200 to 400 mg should be taken orally after every 4 hours as required.
Seek doctor’s advice before giving this drug to a child. In the scenario of missing a dose, and it’s almost time for the next dose, take the next dose only and do not take a double dose.
