Chronic lymphocytic anemia is a type of cancer that affects the blood and the bone marrow. This type of anemia is common in older adults. Gazyva works by interfering with the activities and multiplication of cells that cause cancer in the body.

- Chronic lymphocytic leukemia
Gazyva is used as directed by the doctor. The Gazyva dose may be different from one patient to the other depending on the severity of the condition being treated. The doctor may base the dosage on other factors such as the patient"s weight, age, medical history and response to treatment. The amount of Gazyva to be used depends on the strength of the drug.
- Gazyva usual dose, Administered at 25 mg/hr over 4 hours. Do not increase the infusion rate
If you miss a Gazyva dose, use it at the next available opportunity. However, if it is about time for the second dose, skip the missed dose and go back to the normal schedule. If a Gazyva dose is missed, you should contact your doctor immediately so that he or she may advise on the next course of action.
Gazyva Side Effects

- Loss of appetite
