The drug should be administered intravenously as an injection.
Usual adult dosage for:
- Bone Marrow Transplantation; 20 years and above: 400-500mg/kg/dose IV every week for 3 months.
- Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia; 400 mg/kg/ dose IV every 3 weeks
- Idiopathic (Immune) Thrombocytopenic Purpura; 400-1000 mg/kg/day IV for 2-5 days
Pediatrics’ usual dosage for:
- HIV infection: 400 mg/kg/dose IV every week for 3-4 weeks.
- Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia; 400 mg/kg/ dose IV every 3-4 weeks
- Idiopathic (Immune) Thrombocytopenic Purpura; 400-1000 mg/kg/day IV for 2-5 consecutive days
