Fluorpro Uses

Fluorpro is a drug that is classified in a class of drugs that is known as topical antineoplastics. Fluorpro is usually used for treating multiple actinic or solar keratoses, a condition that causes skin growths due to exposure to sunlight. 

Fluorpro works by blocking the growth of certain cells in the skin and also causing the death of the cells.  Fluorpro is also used for treating skin cancer. You should not use Fluorpro if you are allergic to it or to any ingredient n it. Fluorpro may be used for other purposes that are not listed above, but the doctor should be the only one to determine that.

Fluorpro Dosage

It is always very important to follow the doctor"s instructions regarding the dosage of Fluorpro. If there is a case of an overdose, you should contact the doctor immediately. If you happen to miss a dose of Fluorpro, you should take it as soon as you remember, but if it is time for the next dose, you should skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Do not take two doses to make up for a missed dose.

  • The usual adult dose for skin cancer is an application of 5% cream or solution to lesions twice daily. The treatment should continue for at least 3 to 6 weeks.
  • The adult dose for keratosis is 0.5% cream to be applied on the affected area.

Fluorpro Side Effects

Fluorpro, like any other drug, has its side effects although not all have been reported. Side effects may sometimes be determined by the age, weight of the patient and also the severity of the condition. Some of the side effects that are caused by Fluorpro may be severe that they may require the doctor"s attention while others are mild and will clear as you adjust to the medication.
