Fluex Uses

Fluex is a topical steroid for the skin that is mainly used to treat inflammation and itching caused by a variety of skin conditions such as allergic reactions, eczema and psoriasis. This medication works by reducing the actions certain of chemicals in the body. 

These chemicals cause inflammation, swelling and redness. Fluex may also be used for other conditions as determined by the doctor. Do not use this medication in case you have any allergic reaction towards it or any ingredient in it. Consult the doctor first before using this medication to be monitored. Use Fluex exactly as directed on the label or as prescribed by the doctor.

Fluex Dosage

Fluex dosage is administered in the form of a topical gel, cream or topical ointment. The dosage depends on the condition of the patient. The dosage is also dependent on the patient, their age, and the strength of the medicine. Do not start, stop or change the dosage without consulting the doctor. Note, unnecessary use or overusing the medicine can lead to ineffectiveness of the medicine.

Adult Dose for Dermatitis

  • Topical cream, gel, ointment: Apply a thin layer to affected area two to four times a day

Adult Dose for Eczema

  • 0.05% cream, gel, ointment: Apply a thin layer to affected area two to four times a day
  • 0.1% cream: Apply a thin layer to affected area once or twice a day

Pediatric Dose for Dermatitis
12 years or older:

  • 0.05% cream, gel, ointment: Apply a thin layer to affected area two to four times a day

Pediatric Dose for Eczema
12 years or older:

Fluex Side Effects
