Muscle spasms are often painful. In addition, Flexon may also be prescribed for cold and flu symptoms such as congestion, sore throat and other minor aches. This medication works by acting on the central nervous system and blocks the sensations of pain so that the patient can recuperate and rest. This medication may be used in conjunction with a physical therapy regimen. Therefore, if the patient's condition worsens, they should contact their doctor.
