Fentex Uses

Fentex is a combination medication formulated to treat cold and infection symptoms. It is very effective in treating sinus congestion, runny and stuffy nose and watery/itchy eyes. Fentex is formulated by combining three medicines including; phenylpropanolamine, guaifenesin and phenylephrine.

Phenylephrine and phenylpropanolamine are the decongestant agent in the drugs that works by constricting the blood vessels in the nasal passages to reduce stuffy nose and swelling in the nasal passages. Guaifenesin is the expectorant agent in Fentex, and it loosens the congestion by thinning mucous, increasing lubrication in the respiration tract. This enables the removal of excess mucous to allow proper breathing.
