Fac-X Uses

Fac-X is a combination medicine that is mainly used for supplementing the diet with vitamins, minerals, and calcium. This medication increases the amount of calcium and vitamins in the body. Fac-X prevents or treats vitamin deficiency due to poor eating habits, problems that affect the body"s ability to absorb nutrients from food or lack of vitamins and minerals due to stress or illness. However, this medication may also be used for other conditions as determined by the doctor. This medication should not be used to treat anaemia or to prevent osteoporosis.
Do not use this medication if you are allergic to it or any ingredient in it. Also, do not use this medication if you have high levels of calcium in the blood.

Fac-X Dosage

Fac-X dosage is dependent on the patient since it is different for different patients. The dosage is administered in the form of oral capsules or tablets. The dosage also depends on the condition of the patient and the strength of the medicine. Do not start, stop or change the dosage without consulting the doctor. Fac-X dosage should be given only after a patient has been examined.


Adult Dose for Vitamin and Mineral Supplementation
oral capsule:

  • 2 capsules orally once daily.

Calcium, Magnesium and Phosphorus

  • oral tablet: 2 tablets orally 3 times per day

Vitamin B Complex with C and Calcium

  • oral tablet: 3 tablets orally daily preferably after a meal

Pediatric Dose for Vitamin and Mineral Supplementation
oral capsule:

  • 4 to 10 years: 1 capsule orally once daily.
  • 11 years or older: 2 capsules orally once daily.

Oral liquid:

  • 1 year or less: 1 mL orally once a day.
  • 1 to 3 years: 2 mL orally once a day.

oral tablet:

  • 6 years or older: 1 to 2 tablets orally once or twice daily
