Dapsone Uses

Dapsone is an antibiotic which treats and controls infections caused by bacteria. It works by reducing inflammation and stopping further growth of bacteria. However Dapsone has not proved effectiveness for viral infections. Dapsone is used in combination with other medicines when treating leprosy. Other conditions that Dapsone treats are: prevention and or treatment of pneumocystis pneumonia, prevention of toxoplasmosis, relapsing polychondritis, prevention of malaria, systemic lupus erythematosus, pemphigoid, and granuloma annulare.

Dapsone Dosage
