Multaq is an antiarrhythmic drug that is used to reduce the likelihood of visiting the hospital for severe heart rhythm complication for patients with a history of paroxysmal or constant atrial fibrillation. Multaq aids in regulating the heartbeat and is only administered under the direction of a doctor. Multaq or dronedarone is a medication found in the group of drugs classified as group III antiarrhythmics. Its main purpose is to affect the rhythm of the heartbeats to the people who suffers from irregular heartbeats. It’s used to treat atrial fibrillation or atrial flutter. Multaq comes in the form of a tablet and hence taken orally. The usual adult dosage should be 400 mg twice daily one in the morning and the other in the afternoon.
