Griseofulvin is a drug used to treat a range of different fungal infections. Some of these infections include onychomycosis, tinea pedis and tinea capitis. The drug works by binding to the internal architecture of fungal cells and disrupting its structures, thereby collapsing the cell. Common side effects associated with griseofulvin include headache, stomach upset, vomiting and diarrhoea.
