Bp Allergy Jr is a drug that is formulated by combining two different medicines for allergy and cold treatment. The two medicines are the chlorpheniramine and phenylephrine. Chlorpheniramine is the antihistamine agent that reduces the effects of the histamine chemical in the body to relieve allergic symptoms including itchy/watery eyes, sneezing and itchy throats. Phenylephrine is the decongestant agent that shrinks blood vessels to treat stuffy nose thus treating cold symptoms like the stuffy nose.
The drug can also be prescribed to treat other conditions not mentioned here.

- Allergic Rhinitis; I tablet (2-5 mg) every 2 to 6 hours or 5 mL 3 to 4 times a day. For sustained-release suspension; 15 mL orally every 12 hours.
- Cold symptoms; I tablet (2-5 mg) every 2 to 6 hours or 5 mL 3 to 4 times a day. For sustained-release suspension; 15 mL orally every 12 hours.
Pediatrics’ Bp Allergy Jr dosage for:
- Allergic Rhinitis and cold symptoms; 6-11 months; 0.75 mL orally 4 times a day. 1-2 years; 1 mL orally four times a day. 2-5 years; 1 mL orally every 4-6 hours and a maximum of 4 doses a day. 12 years and above 10 ml orally every 4 hours.
