It is formulated by combining two medicines that make it very effective in treating various stomach problems. Phenobarbital is a Barbiturate that slows the activity of the brain and nervous system to help in reducing pain. Belladonna is the other component in the combination that reduces muscles spasm in the intestine. It also reduces the production of secretions from certain glands.

- 5 kg-9.1 kg; 0.5 mL orally every 4 hours or 0.75 mL every 6 hours
- 1 kg – 13.6 kg; 1 mL orally every 4 hours or 1.5 mL every 6 hours
- 6 kg-22.7 kg; 1.5 mL orally every 4 hours or 2 mL every 6 hours
- 7 kg-34 kg; 2.5 mL orally every 4 hours or 3.75 mL every 6 hours
- 4 and greater; 5 mL orally every 4 hours or 7.5 mL every 6 hours
