Of all drugs under the same class, Aristo-Pak seems to be used in the treatment of a variety of indications. Being one of the long-acting synthetic corticosteroids, Aristo-Pak has been found to be effective in the management and treatment of the following conditions:

Aristo-Pak Dosage

Aristo-Pak is available in several formulations such as tablet and topical cream or ointment. It is also found as an injection and for inhalation among other formulations. Since Aristo-Pak is used for the treatment of several indications, each condition takes different dosage and formulation. However, for adult patients suffering from adrenocortical insufficiency, the usual dose is:

  • 4 mg-12 mg taken orally on a daily basis (this will be given alongside mineralocorticoid therapy)

The pediatric dose for Acute Leukemia is:

  • 1 mg/kg (the equivalent of 2 mg/kg) taken orally on a daily basis for 4-6 weeks
