Allan Tannate Pediatric is a medication which is combined of chlorpheniramine which acts as an antihistamine. It is used to reduce the effects of natural chemical histamine in the body. The chemical histamine produces the symptoms of sneezing, itching, runny nose and watery eyes. phenylephrine acts as a decongestant which is used to shrink the blood vessels in the nasal passages.

In general Allan Tannate Pediatric is used in the treatment of certain symptoms of the common cold such as sneezing, runny or stuffy nose, itchy and watery eyes. However, this medication may also be used for other purposes as determined by the doctor.

Adult Dose for Allergic Rhinitis
Oral tablets

  • 1 tablet every 4 to 6 hours as needed or 1 tablet 
  • Do not to exceed 6 doses in 24 hours.

  • 5 mL 3 to 4 times a day as needed

Adult Dose for Cold Symptoms
Oral tablets

  • 1 tablet every 4 to 6 hours as needed or 1 tablet

Pediatric Dose for Allergic Rhinitis

  • 6 months to 11 months: 0.75 mL 4 times a day.

  • 6 years to 12 years: 2 mL every 4 to 6 hours as needed.
