Ali-Flex Uses

Ali-Flex is a drug that is used for relieving pain and also reducing fever because it is a combination of acetaminophen and phenyltoloxamine. Phenyltoloxamine is an antihistamine that works by reducing the effects of histamine in the body which produce symptoms of itching, watery eyes and sneezing while acetaminophen is a fever reducer and a pain reliever.

Ali-Flex is also used for treating menstrual pains,headache and other minor pains and aches. It can also be used for treating itchy or watery eyes and also pains that are usually caused by common colds. There could be other uses of Ali-Flex but that should only be determined by a doctor.

Ali-Flex Dosage

It is important to follow the doctors advice regarding the dosage and the schedule. If you happen to miss a dose of Ali-Flex, take it as soon as you remember and if it is almost time for the next dose you should skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. In case of an overdose, make sure you contact a doctor immediately.

  • The usual adult dose for 325 mg- 30 mg oral tablet is 1 or 2 tablets orally every 4 hours but you should not exceed 8 tablets a day.
  • 500 mg -50 mg oral tablet is 1/2 to 1 tablet orally every 4 hours not to exceed 5 tablets a day
  • 600 mg- 66 mg oral tablet, extended release is 1 to 2 tablets orally every 8 to 12 hours not to exceed 6 tablets daily.

Ali-Flex Side Effects
