Albumarc Uses

Albumarc is made to mimic Albumin, a protein that is naturally produced by the liver. Albumin helps clear the liquid portion of the blood. Albumarc is made using plasma proteins from the human body. Albumarc is used on its own or with food. Before using Albumarc inform your doctor if have been previously diagnosed for severe anemia, high blood pressure, the kidney disease or have a latex allergy. Albumarc is only available through a doctor’s prescription and works by increases the levels of plasma in the blood. Albumarc is indicated for:

  • Anemia
  • High blood pressure

 

Albumarc Dosage

The Albumarc dose is determined by the physician and may differ from one person to the other depending on the seriousness of the condition it is being used to treat. The patient’s weight, medical history and the body’s ability to tolerate the effects of Albumarc may also determine the dosage. Ensure that you stringently observe the dose as directed by your physician and do not change the dose unless he or she instructs you to.

  • Albumarc dose - 250 or 500 mL IV at a rate of 1 to 2 mL per minute 

If an Albumarc dose missed, take it at the earliest opportunity. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and return to the regular schedule. Never take double Albumarc doses.

 

Albumarc Side Effects

Like most drugs, using Albumarc may bring about side effects. These effects will vary from one patient to the other in terms of severity. While not every patient will experience the side effects, it is important to contact a doctor if the severe effects listed below occur.
