Primaxin Uses

Primaxin, a carbapenem antibiotic, addresses a wide variety of bacterial infections. Primaxin use treats complex abdominal infections, complicated urinary tract infections, pneumonia, and infections of the kidney with septicemia. Primaxin acts against both the gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria. As a beta-lactam antibiotic agent, it blocks the cell wall synthesis by binding itself to penicillin-binding proteins. Primaxin treats Pseudomonas aeruginosa. It handles gastrointestinal tract infections, wound and skin infections, septicaemias and many other infections brought about by sensitive organisms. Primaxin uses include the following:
