Pegasys Dosage

Pegasys dosage is completely dependent on the individual that takes it, as it can be used for a variety of conditions. Note that the amount of Pegasys you take also depends on the age of the individual. In addition to that the amount of Pegasys you take also depends on the strength of each injection and the amount of times you will receive the injection. Note that Pegasys also depends on the type of condition you are treating.

Pegasys dosage for hepatitis B and hepatitis c

  • For adults, dosage is based on the patient's body weight. However, usually, the dosage is 180mcg that is to be injected under the skin once a week for a period of 48 weeks.
  • For children, usage and dosage should be determined by a doctor's consultation.

Pegasys dosage in combination with ribavirin for hepatitis c

  • For adults, dosage is based on the patient's body weight. However, usually, the dosage is 180mcg that is to be injected under the skin once a week for a period of 24-48 weeks. This dosage should be taken with ribavirin at the same time and day as other treatments.
  • For children 5 and older, dosage is based on the patient's body weight. However, usually, the dosage is 180mcg that is to be injected under the skin once a week for a period of 24-48 weeks. This dosage should be taken with ribavirin at the same time and day as other treatments.
  • For children under 5, usage and dosage should be determined by a doctor's consultation.
