Melphalan Dosage

Melphalan dosage varies from one patient to another.   • Multiple Myeloma (blood cancer): 6 mg once a day for up to three weeks. The drug is discontinued up to four weeks whereby the blood count is followed.
  • Maintenance dosage- 2 mg once in a day.
  • Ovarian cancer: 0.2 mg/kg orally daily for five days. This dosage is repeated every four to five weeks depending on hematologic tolerance.
